I’ve had issues with past charcoal filters and a horrible sickly sweet smell
This last filter I purchased had NO ISSUES!!! This is fantastic. Smell or no smell these absolutely help with off-gassing or other health issues in a room although the sickly sweet smell of filters past is pretty bad. No charcoal leaking, an issue I’ve had with some of the off brands but never the iq brand. I’d argue that this is the least important filter to stay on brand with, and that the smells of filters past still haunt me as it was a ten year issue, so do with that as you like but my 2023 filter purchase has had no odor issues! Finally. If you’re going on brand, I’d recommend the three filter mass purchase to save a little money. I consider charcoal the least important of the filters as the need for it tends to be short term.

Smelling cigarettes from my IQ purifier which means the V5 Filter seems to need replacing frequently
I will say that I love my IQ Air Purifier but the genuine cartridges are very expensive. I seem to have to replace this V5-Cell Filter several times before the time is up on my menu even tho I should have 5,207 hours left. But since I am smelling a very annoying constant smell of cigarettes when I turn my purifier on, my research shows that the V5 Filter probably needs replacing. I first tried cleaning everything as directed and I noticed the V5 filter seemed very heavy when I took it out. I am pretty sure that living in a basement apt in a high humid environment is causing this issue.

Wonderful machines, they give you peace of mind when you live in area that has lots of fires. I want to keep my machine running properly so the right filters and when they indicate they need changing I change filters with good filters for my machine.

These filters are amazing and work excellent long lasting, but are rather expensive. I prefer these filters over the aftermarket filters for the quality.

Worst product I ever buy
Not sure whether is it genuine. Product received were in bad shape and look pretty worn out. Seem like use before and they re-package and re-sell.

Removes odors -- long lasting
These are original IQAir carbon filters that remove odors. Works very well and lasts a long time (months and months). Air purification is just part of my operating costs...

Der beste Luftreiniger benötigt den besten Filter und nachdem IQAir nun auch eine App hat ist das Gerät auch empfehlenswert 👍 Manche Firmen benötigen etwas länger um herauszufinden das die Technik sich weiter entwickelt 👍
