Cleared up my babies facial cheek rash almost immediately. The smell is distinct but I find it nice. Very effective. Stickiness dissipates once applied. I can tell it is a pure product and will continue to use it topically.

I love this product, great quality. It deeply nourishes my dry skin and chapped lips. I only need to apply it 1-2 times a day, unlike other skin care products that need constant reapplication. I read other reviews about the smell, but it doesn’t have a smell. Naturally sourced and pure lanolin is great for all skin types. I will be purchasing again, and I’d recommend this product to anyone.

As a person who has lived on a beef farm since day 1, I thought the reviews were being dramatic, but have no doubt this smells very strongly of sheep. I was going to return the product but I was desperate to find something that would stop the itching of my stretch marks as I enter the last month of my pregnancy. 3 days of using it once a day has done wonders to my skin. No more insatiable itching, but trust the smell still lingers after hours and .nothing. masks the smell completely

I updated my review to four stars because I just found out this product is supposed to smell like this. Oops! I’m used to it and now I swear by it because hydrates my lips like nothing else can. I use it mostly when I woke up and when I go to bed and it keeps my lips plump because of the intense hydration. However, I have switched to another brand that delivers their product in glass. It smells a bit rancid and I’m not sensitive to bad smells so I continued to use it but I find that using it with my sip straw can make the drink taste bad so I stopped using it. Ideally I will start using it at night only. It’s a good deal, though, but now I know why?

It took me a while to reach a decision to purchase this brand of Lanolin because I wanted it to be of good quality and I am very happy that I chose this brand. It's 100% pure and natural, unprocessed Lanolin which has a slight scent reminiscent of being from Real Sheep. So far I have used it to heal my sore lips as well as to heal very painful finger splits in only 2 days; whereas nothing else worked even though some skin preparations were much, much more expensive. In order to get the best results from the lanolin treatment I applied this on all my fingers at night just before going to sleep and then I put on oversized, brown jersey gloves which I kept on overnight. I'm very happy with the results.

The product works great, softens skin and lips. A little pricey with the 2 ounces, however, it is lasting quite a while.

I’ve got the worst chapped, peeling, bleeding, painful lips from an autoimmune condition and medications. This purchase was a last ditch effort to heal my lips, after trying anything and everything else. Not only did it work, it performed a minor miracle in two days. TWO DAYS. Not a hint of peeling or cracking for a month now. Idkw people complain about the smell - it smells like an Irish fisherman sweater, because it’s full of natural lanolin from wool. Apply bf sleep and it’ll still be working when you wake up. Also, I appreciate the company not using “nipple” on the label, as my jar is always on a coffee table or countertop and people would have questions. Very thick and gooey which is why it stays on, but can be combined with appropriate essential oils.

No information on where the lanolin is sourced only that it is bottled in the USA, so a little concerning not knowing its origin. Website isn’t very helpful researching this either. Aside from that initial hesitation this Lanolin works very well for dry lips. I use it on my dry heels and hands as well. I would otherwise give this 5 stars…just not sure how trustworthy it is without knowing where it comes from.
