Cream effectiveness is somewhat determined on where the radiation treatment is.   Any specifics on this?

I was told by my Radiation Oncologist and the Radiation Oncology Nurse to apply two to three times daily on the area that is to be treated with Radiation.  I would say the cream effectiveness is not somewhat determined but is indeed determined on putting the cream medication directly on the area of the body being radiated.  I am currently being given radiation treatments for trachea cancer and am holding up well.  However do not apply cream 2 to 3 hours before treatments.

These are 4 ounces.  Over the 5 weeks of radiation I used 3-4 of these.  I did use the cream very liberally, several times a day, and experienced very minimal/mild burning.  Nothing to be concerned about at all.  It was well worth the money for not having to go through serious burns.
