Works great - make sure you get correct version
There are lots of filter variants for my particular car (2001 Corolla/Prizm auto 4 spd w/overdrive). Find the right one using your unique VIN at a car dealer website first.

bad buy
The filter has rust spots on it in multiple places which tells me it's not made to quality standards. The box itself was beat up when I took it out of the Amazon packaging. Of course it was made in China. The gasket came folded causing stress cracks and creases putting its integrity in question. Really disappointing and waste of money.

gasket wasn't right... y tho
filter was right but pan gasket didn't fit right? perhaps I have an aftermarket transmission. don't know why the bolt pattern was different

Fit perfectly and quality
This was an easy replacement and upgrade in my 2002 corolla. Both the filter and gasket were of higher quality than what I took out probably from one of those quicky lubes. This is the best kit imo.
