Horrible. I mean, truly, horrible.
The only thing I can think of is they sent me a faulty sub. It's working. Pairs, can configure in the BluOS controller, the whole bit. You can even use the +/- to raise the, ahem, volume. You can actually tell that is is providing more or less power when you do that but you'd never know that unless your hand is on the speaker itself. It's worthless as is. You cannot tell a sub is on. The volume is so low, and I don't mean frequency. I mean, at full volume you cannot get any sense of it being on. Returning and will NEVER take another shot at a Bluesound sub. FFS.

Good, low profile sub
I bought this sub to add to my Bluesound Pulse 2 system. The unit works well, has great sound quality and has a nice range of adjustments. It’s nice and thin and could easily be wall mounted, which is rare for a sub.My only complaint is this unit is not a ported enclosure, therefore, you don’t get deep, rumbling bass. The unit has loud, tight and clean bass, and gets rather low, but don’t expect your walls to be shaking. Overall, I am happy with my purchase.
