Mainstay screwdriver. Nice to have.
I bought this as an upgrade to the first 11n1 I bought 2 years ago. That screwdriver was fantastic for alot of jobs an electrician does. The Philips, square and flat tips were used pretty heavily and worked great with positive traction on screws. I particularly liked that i could easily change from a Philips or flat tip to a square bit with just a flip of the shaft. The disadvantage to these small bits is that they are easy to lose. They have a tendency to stick in the screw when you pull away. If your not watching you'll easily leave it behind and not know it. I never lost a bit in the 2 years I had it. I gave the old one to a coworker and he lost a bit in 2 days of owning it. This new magnetic version is supposed to be an improvement on the bits. I will have to spend some time with it to see if that's true. I'll update this review in a while and see what's up with the bits. The shaft is longer than the old version too. Other than the longer shaft and bit improvements this screwdriver feels and is pretty much as the original. Feels good in my hand. One hand operation is comfortable and easy. Magnetic holds a panhead tech screw without dropping it. Bit pulled out with screwdriver and not in the screw. This screwdriver is still offten used even though I own a rachet 15n1 also. Keeps me from having to change bits for different screws. I also should say i own the Ideal 12n1 screwdriver also. Side by side comparison there is a difference in the handles. The Ideal brand has a bigger diameter and was easier to use one handed. The rubber grips on both are textured the same, the grip on the Ideal brand was wider and covered more of my hand as i turned it. Except for the small difference in the rubber grip the 2 of them were identical as the operation of the shaft goes. The Ideal brand still uses a dimpel ring to secure the bits, while also making the bits slightly larger. So as usual the Klein brand 11n1 design showed up to work, while the engineering is keeping up-to-date with other top manufacturers. You should get it, it's nice to have around. Just keep an eye on the bits when you use it.

Best multitool to have anywhere.
Apprentice Electrician. This is a rare case of a multifunction tool pulling its weight. This screw driver has gotten me out of so many binds, and is truly a workhorse tool. If your looking for a multi-function screwdriver for around the house this is all you should need and then some.

Klein makes the best multi bit drivers
I purchased this compact driver to go in my laptop bag for work (I’m not an electrician) just nice to have. I have the non collapsing driver in my toolbox at home. Love that tool. Does most small tasks very well. The advantage this tool is the offset lengths that makes one of the socket tubes long and one side short. If the short side is out then the sliding handle can cover the bit. That keeps the bit from poking a hole in my laptop bag or a pocket (if you’re into that). Brilliant feature. Other than that it’s the same function as the traditional compact driver I got in some multi tool package. I prefer the longer tool in a toolbox so it is more visible and does not get lost. Glad Klein makes both. If I had it pick this one will do whatever the traditional design does and it travels much better

Great tool, small price - will be used regularly!
Bought this for myself - I’m a Klein brand believer, i have other tools from them. Liked it so much got one for my best friend as a present. Hey the girls buy stuff for each other all the time, this was a quality tool that doesn’t demand an expensive return give. Great value, precise, has the bits you probably need, compact and I keep this one in the house not with the tools in the garage. Very few tools reside in the house. Lots of stuff needs these small bits, from toys to battery compartments with TINY screws. You won’t return it, your significant other will want one.

Same great tool, slightly less reliable handle
One of my favorite screwdrivers historically. Have had many before and they work great. I have noticed however that Klein durability is not all that it used to be. These handles may crack when dropped off a ladder or in cold weather. Still pls on buying again, but where they used to last for years I expect typically 2-3 replacements every year as long as I don’t loose the bits. But durability is as good as it ever was.

Almost perfect for everyday minimalist use.
Every product must make trade offs but this product has very few. Clearly it does not have an insulated shaft and it cannot get into deep, narrow holes. Otherwise it is excellent. Could it be better? Absolutely! How? Dump the Philips #1/#2 bits and replace them with #1/#2 JIS bits. With this change I'd rarely need another screwdriver since the JIS bits will still work with Philips, Pozidrive screws and JIS, of course. Finally, making replacement bits readily available, through an easily accessible source, such as Amazon, would help a lot.
