Large healthy sugarcanes
Super happy with the sugarcane. It actually arrived a week earlier than expected and they are all good sized and seem very healthy. I put them in alittle water to get the roots to germinate.

Waste of money.
I would not waste your money on this product. Very poorly packaged. Poor quality, arrived with mold growing all over it. Complete waste of money and you canโt even request a refund.

They came w/ mold yet PERFECT FOR PLANTING ๐ฅฐ
WORTH BUYING. 8 stocks came, none had live roots showing upon arrival. I brought mine for planting.. I didnโt purchase for eating. Though I did eat one, bc I couldnโt resist. ๐ ๐ฉ. The flavor was nice between the nodes, however I could taste them fermenting in some areas. I wouldnโt buy these for eating itโs a gamble, however for PLANTING THEY ARE PERFECT. They rooted in 48 hrs just sitting in a plastic bin with water half way covering the stocks. Iโm very pleased with my purchase.

Taste sweet as expected
Taste sweet as expected. Was a little fresher than expected. Only problem is there was so much of it I had to freeze it which gave it a little of a freezer taste. But my bird still loves it. I just wish for smaller packages or I need more birds to feed it to. 2/18/2020 I just recived my new order for 7 pounds. They fresh as always with a small amount of red on the end which I cut off. I found I can freeze them and thaw them in a bowl of water. It seems to stop the red color. This batch does not seem as sweet as the first batch. But it may just be this stock as I have not tried them all yet.

Moldy smell and extremely dry
The canes came in a box and as soon as I opened it I smelt mold. Some of them were dirty and their dry.

Healthy and more for my money!
Beautiful canes!! Healthy and more for my money than anywhere else!!! 9 canes in my box. Iโm starting rooting in water as recommended.

Waste of money
03/23/2019: Polar Bear Store responded that they are sorry and will send better quality canes after next pick day. I will change this review after that is delivered. We got 14 sticks of sugarcane each one around one foot in length. Out of them only 4 were eatable. Rest are simply the top part which you usually throw away or with red/black spots which are not edible. Stay away from this scam.
