Can i remove the ir filter? I want to use it with the Trackhat Clip but unsure if this one has the removable filter. It's 2016 now.

I cant remember the names of the website for removing the i r filter at the moment but the site that sells the tracking and software for the using the PS 3 camera for head tracking in racing games will tell you and also there are ones that will do it for you or sell you one already setup for it . If memory serves me right the site you buy the Track hat clip from should also have that info on their site. I have seen it as i have looked in to it but my computer not very good for using it for RACING GAMES SO JUST USING THE CAMERA ON THE CONSOLE FOR NOW. HOPE THIS HELPED YOU !
