Simple, Does Just What it Says It Does. Works perfectly as designed for credit cards. Card must be swiped with stripe on opposite side of the green light (different from the reader I was using). As some may not know you need to place the cursor in the credit card field on your computer in order for the reader to be able to work. This may be why some reviewers complain that their readers don't work.

Works great 👍 if you cant insert the disc just go to the website and download the software it's simple.

We use the writer for college ID's to put meal plans on them. The set up was fairly easy. We use the cord since our computer doesn't have Bluetooth. We have found when it goes unused for an extended time, we have to unplug it and plug it back in. Then it works just fine. There is a faint click sound when we click the write button. If we don't here it, then the writer won't work, so we unplug. The manual that came with it doesn't explain the button on it and we have tried using it instead of unplugging, but it doesn't work. Says it will do up to a million cards, we won't hit that number anytime soon, even though it seems like, but we hope it will last for awhile.
