Heavy Duty Black Punching Bag with Chains

This Last Punch heavy duty punching bag has been an excellent addition to my home gym! The quality is immediately apparent - the bag is well-constructed with thick, durable material that can withstand intense workouts. The included chains are heavy-duty and securely attached to the bag. I've been using it for about three months now and it still looks brand new with no signs of wear. The weight is perfect for a good workout without being too heavy to hang. The bag has a good density that provides excellent resistance without being rock hard. My hands and wrists feel supported even during hard punches. Installation was straightforward with clear mounting points. The black color looks professional and doesn't show dirt easily. Great value for the quality you're getting. Highly recommend for anyone setting up a home boxing gym!

Awesome kickboxing bag! Very durable and easy to fill. Would recommend as a different form of cardio.

Buyers' Notes: •Size is good for those only concerned with boxing. •Seems to be made of good canvas and stitching. •Dimensions (bag only from seam to seam): 11 inches (diameter), 31 inches (height). •Chain Length (effective, when hung): 16½ - 17 inches •Volume: ≈ 1.7 cubic inches Potential Drawbacks: •Canvas material may be a concern for those who wish to or must have the bag hung outdoors (e.g., mildew, mold). •Keep in mind you may spend more to fill and outfit your bag, if doing-it-yourself is not already an advantage. As normally recommended, I'd duct tape the bottom and the seams as a precautionary measure. First, the measurements of the bag are correct if the bag is laid flat. For me, finding out the actual dimensions of the bag was unappealing since I bought the bag with the said dimensions in mind. This leaves you with about 1.7 cubic inches of volume to pack the bag. I was unable to get the bag to above 30 lbs with clothing alone, so expect to fill it with other material if you want it heavier. I also decided to place carpet along the walls for padding and duct taped the bottom of carpet to help prevent the bottom from stretching or breaking apart. I did not particularly like the vinyl. Although there is nothing particularly wrong with it, I am sensitive to particular smells of synthetic material, which this one was one. The zipper is located across the diameter of the top, therefore stuffing and unstuffing the bag is a minor exercise of tedium. I have not had any problems with the zipper. I am uncertain of what the chains are rated for, but if you are extra safety conscious, I'd consider investing in additional hardware (I did not do this). Considering all of this, I would still buy this product knowing what I know now.

Exactly what I wanted. I had a bunch of old shirts to fill it with. Chains are sturdy. Bag is a little rough, so if you want to hit it over 100 times any type of gloves would save the skin on your knuckles, or you could keep at it bare knuckle and the skin will toughen up. Fold or roll clothing and pack down tightly if you want it to be more solid.

The quality of the canvas is good. The zippered opening at the top of the bag, is of poor quality and poorly placed. It's difficult to get more than your hand in the open slot, and the zipper broke with a mild pull. Ended up duct taping the slot closed. Did fill with two body pillows and a regular pillow at a cost of $35 (Target). 15 lbs of sand in the bottom and the bag is punch worthy. The pictures indicated to me the bag was larger/longer. It's short; long enough to either punch from arm heighth or kick from leg heigth. I rigged a pulley system in the garage to raise and lower the bag (cost about $8 from Lowe's) and this works OK. Overall, would assess a good bargain for the cost; just be prepared for difficulty in filling the bag. (I did take it out on the bag once filled and it holds up very well under stress.)

Exactly what I wanted as a new user with a cost under $30 plus fill of $5. A good friend is a boxer and is assisting me. We talked about weight and protecting the hands and finally proper way to workout with it. Filled by following a Youtube (some are better than others) who suggested gallon or quart zip locks filled with sand. I used dirt instead of sand which had the same weight at 40#'s per bag. $2.50 for dirt vs $7.50 for sand per 40#'s (2 for 80 #'s). I also used old pillows in between each layer. End result is very good. This bag gets a solid 10 (1 to 10) for value and rconstruction.
