TIKI 1108471 Renaissance Patio Torch

I purchase two of these almost a year ago. They yield a really nice "torch" flame, much superior to the stake in the ground. Base is solid. I was concerned about tipping, but in high wind over the winter they stayed up fine. Finish has held up fine. A deer knocked one over. so I created a 2" concrete pad 18x18 that I set them into. As far as them being too expensive: the price ranges from $100 to $229 online. At $100 from Amazon, I think it's a great deal. Lowes wanted $179. I am oredering two more. But was disappointed after purchasing 6, when I found them $30.00 cheaper at Walmart. Pays to shop around ! Love the Torches, and they look great in my tropical backyard. The only complaint about the product itself, is that rust will immediately run down the pole from the joints where they are screwed together the moment they get wet! Our location has a lot of drizzle in the early mornings, and I am always having to move them in under cover. Update as of 9/2013.... One of these Torches is now leaking oil... it is somehow coming out from the bottom of the reservoir, down the pole and the stand, and has left a huge oil stain on my patio. Thankfully only one of the 6 so far is defective.

Well built. Much bigger than I anticipated. Flame is smaller than anticipated. It puts off same flame as the Island King Tiki Torch.

NOT WHAT I EXPECT IT TOO EXPENSIVE FOR THE PRODUCT THE PHOTOS AND DESCRIPTION OF THE PRODUCT IS GREAT BUT WHEN I SAW THE LAMP I WAS NOT IMPRESS.

Great torches, easy assembly, east to fill feature is worth every penny. keep the wick trimmed at about 1" and you get a nice big bright flame. burn times will vary depending on how long you make the wick, at 1" mine burned well over 7 hours and I still had fuel left. with the easy fill it really dosent matter because it takes 10 seconds to fill the torch up. Going to buy more!

Great. Big flame. Look good. Covers should be made of metal so you could cover them before they cool down. Thats why not 5 stars.

I purchased two of these torches for our backyard/pool area. The flames are awesome - I get lots of compliments. Easy to fill. Be sure to cover if leaving outside - they will fill with rain water.
