How come my chocolates taste very old and many are even white when I unwrap them?

I haven’t had that problem, but the white color is due to something called bloom when the cocoa fat rises to the surface. It doesn’t typically change the taste. It sounds like really old chocolate! I would get a refund!

How do i know they won't melt? i'm ordering from amazon and shipping to san francisco area (153 piece dove promises)

They made from Colorado to Florida fine. No melting. But majority of the chocolates were mixed with old/stale ones. Please be aware.
