Hikari Vibra Bites

I have been using Hikari vibra bites exclusively for raising predatory cichlids. Young predatory cichlids can be very picky with their food and easily be addicted to live or frozen brine shrimp, krill, and especially blood worms. Getting the to transition to a well made pellet or flake can be hard. I have lost very nice fish using the starving method to get them to give into eating pellets. Hikari Vibra bites have always been VERY successful. In my opinion the perfect food for young carnivore/ predatory cichlids. And they will grow very FAST and LARGE with Hikari Vibra bites. I have used broken up Hikari Carnivore and Massivore Pellets in the past. Vibra bites is a better choice and when these cichlids get bigger trasitioning them with those bigger pellets is easy. I have grown HUGE cichlids starting them on Vibra bites which they all aggressively love until they outgrow the size of the worm like food. The common African Jewels love them. I also have grown their bigger cousins also. My favorite cichlids is Hemichromis. Many 7 inch Male Hemichromis Elongatus (the Five Star Generals), 10 inch Frempongis, and a few 11 inch Fasciatus using Vibra bites. Many Hemichromis will choose to happily eat Vibra bites their entire lives. The predatory Haps love them too. The Nimbos especially; Fuscos, Livingstoni, Malawi Eye Biters. Tyrannochromis will devour this as well. All young Parachromis; Dovii, Managuense, Red Tiger Motas, Fredstalis easily fall in love with Vibra bites. Umbriferum, Festae, Trimacs, Grammode, Salvini, Herichthys, of course Oscars, and predatory Tilapia will all greedily take this staple. Amazinly & surprisingly I have also had success using Vibra bites with young Serrasalmus. Black and red. I am so impressed with Vibra bites as the starting staple for Carnivorous fish. I cannot emphasize enough that young carnivorous fish will grow fast and very large using Vibra bites. I leave this review for the Largest bulk size available for Vibra bites as it is the best value and deal for this staple. You can see the above fish are all very aggressive, territorial, and robust cichlids. I have grown very outgoing, beautiful and healthy fish with this staple. Let me end by sharing with you that the majority of the above stated fish will start to breed before they even transition to bigger food.

This product speaks for itself but I can tell you that all of my fish love HIKARI VIBRA BITES. It has all the nutrients that my fish need. It has no smell and does not cloud the water. It is a good quality product that is a great value for the money. It comes in a varity of sizes and the package is resealable for thoughtful functionality. It enhances the color of the fish while keeping them healthy. I highly recommond Hikari Vibra Bites !

One of the best fish food. I have used Lots of different fish in my fish love it and the health of my fish has greatly improved since adding this into my feedings.

I use these in two different tanks. In one, a community of kuhli loaches love these. In another, a community of corydoras love these, too. The mid and upper-level swimmers will also swim down to nibble on them as well. The food does not cloud the tank, and whatever may be left--which isn't much--is cleaned up by my snails. The price is doable. The pouch closes well. I also noticed that when my albino bristlenoses eat these, their color intensifies. Really, two fins up. You can't go wrong with Hikari!

It was easy to switch my discus over to dried foods with this. They accepted it right away. Now they get a large variety including beef heart.

I'm a big fan of Hikari. As a aquarium hobbyist their selection of fish food is amazing. From my goldfish to my freshwater community tank, they have all the food that I need to keep my fish fed and happy. I was struggling with my community tank (Galaxy rasboras, Cory catfish, pleco, algae eater) so during feeding it sometimes required several different types of food to feed them. Not with Vibra bites all my fish enjoy it. They are slow sinking so my top swimmers have a chance to eat and then my corys enjoy them when they hit the substrate. Ive used Vibra bites for a while I can't confirm fully they enhance color, and I feed them a mixed diet but overall Hikari fish food is top notch.

I feed Vibra Bites to my two finicky blood parrot cichlids and they are the brightest orange red I've ever seen. When I got them, they were little (~1.5 inch) pale orange/peach babies. After a year of Vibra Bites and frozen treats (brine shrimp, etc.) they're huge, healthy, beautiful fish! The small size and shape is easy for them to eat and sinks slowly, and my bottom feeders (Synodontis and Raphael catfish) clean up most of the left overs. Overall, a good value for the price, with a bag lasting about a year for my aquarium.
