The good:This desk was easy to assemble and all of the parts were in the box.The frame is sturdy enough to add a different higher quality top.The bad:The packing material was old school styrofoam which broke off in little pieces and went everywhere.The ugly:The finish on the desk is laminated which is to be expected. But mine arrived laminated badly with a defect in the finish the size of a quarter. The bottom has several fine scratches. The edges aren't lined up correctly. I expected a better lamination job and material for $99.Conclusion:This desk is comparable to the $60 range of desks you can pick up in your local department store. It will serve my purpose but I will probably replace the top with real wood later on. If you need a light duty desk just to study on this will do it but so will the cheaper similar quality desks at the local department store.

So I put this thing together and soon realized that the top of the base and the legs that need to be connected don't line up. It's such a silly mistake. Like you really have to not care at all to mess that up. It's a simple measurement. Look elsewhere for a table desk. Oh and the top is not centered with the legs. I didn't expect much for $109 but I'm sure wal-mart could do much better.

I heavily rely on product reviews on Amazon, although I've never left one before. Life is busy! But after what happened with this desk, I feel I must share our experience with it. The package arrived undamaged. Good! My husband had no trouble putting it together until.... see the picture. The holes in the desktop did not line up with the frame of the desk so that you could attach the pieces to each other. You might be wondering if we put the frame together incorrectly. Nope! Because that part comes pre-assembled. And look at how far the holes are off - at least 1/4 inch to 1/2 inch! Since it is next to impossible to return to the "store," we had to do something to get our money's worth out of the desk. My husband used to be a carpenter, so he had to drill new holes in the desktop that lined up with the holes in the frame. Sheesh! My advice is unless you enjoy a little carpentry work, buy a desk that you can put your hands on in a local store. And if it is faulty like this one, you can take it back.

Holes drilled on wrong side to add support bar for legs, leaving desk unsteady. Very cheap looking compared to other items I have purchased of this type.

I bought this desk for my wife, who occasionally works from home. It was easy to assemble, and looks okay. The top is very thin, and may not hold up to heavy loads (computer/printer/etc). Only time will tell if it was a good buy.

Great desk. Using it for my kids computers. Plenty of room for 2 towers 2 monitors 2 keyboards and each has room for their mouse.

Flimsy, holes don't match on assembly. This is easily the WORST item I have ever purchased from Amazon. But of course, it is not "from Amazon" but a "private seller" so they supposedly cannot refund. Total waste of money into a junk pile.

I really liked the look of the desk as well as the material used to create it; however, it was very unstable and swayed on its legs, no matter how much i tightened the screws.
