Fuel pump might have fluid in it when you receive it.
When I first started the bike after placing the fuel pump it leaked, so I contacted amazon to return it and contacted the seller to send me another fuel pump and they responded fast and agreed to send me a new fuel pump. Well the following day I started the bike again and it didnโt leak. Iโm guessing there was some fluid in the pump when it came in and it probably came out when I started the bike. So far so good will ride the bike for a couple of days and will see.

Temporary vs. Permanent
A friend of mine & I took our time & installed this product.It gave me a good feeling when we got everything back together & cranked it right up.It seemed fine & gave me about 132 enjoyable miles (during perfect riding weather) !I stopped for gas & went to start it up and...well, it idled (roughly), but cut off on me when I throttled it.I had to haul it home !?!Maybe this one is the only dud ?!?Ho-hum...:-(

easy installation
seems to work well but time will tell the oem one didn't last 4000 miles and this one is easy to install if you have the proper tools
