DR Strings HI-DEF NEON Electric Guitar Strings (NGE-11)

I was pleasantly surprised by these. First I opened the package and I couldn't believe just how vibrant the coating was, it reflects a lot of light! Secondly the tone was just fine, the strings felt a little less slick to my fretting hand but I got used to it very quickly (feels like you're fretting a plastic string than a slick metal, no issues though). The sound coming out was great and they are actually extremely durable, I left them on for several months with no issues! They reflect well under black light and are easy to see, plus they gave my guitar some unique style. I would definitely buy again.

Love these strings, they’re very smooth but they do feel alitte plasticy but it’s just the coating, for the bands I play in with UV lighting these look great onstage.

Good sounding strings, but the neon green flakes off the GBE even before the first tuning. My B string didn't have any neon when I took from the package. It had already flaked off in the paper envelope it was bundled in.

I absolutely love these strings and have been using them for about 10 years. They are super durable,feel great, and I love the color. I have a flat black guitar and the green really pops out. The color doesn’t shed from the strings too bad except for where you pick. Good value for the money.

they work great for electric. the probably start to wear out at about 200 hrs of heavy use.

I put these on 4 different basses using different colors, they have a great stage presence but a muffled sound. I like a very bright and punchy sound and these did not deliver what i was looking for. Again, great stage presence but poor sound quality. Coating also wears off quickly with aggressive playing styles.

Like folks used to say, you need your greens!!! And they deliver. They will fade on the pick side after some abuse but not everyone plays 9min songs of non stop shredding!!!

price is high but considering the quality it's a great deal in 800inr.

The sound of these strings is average, but this is to be expected from plastic covered strings. Some of the rubber is already flaking off the smaller strings. The bigger string (E A D) have the worst sound. There is no treble and it just sounds dull compared to regular strings. This effect is not as noticeable when playing with heavy distortion but for clean guitar it can be bothering. Other than that they look pretty good and they feel nice on the fingertip. Buy this for the esthetics, not the sound.

Sehr harte Saiten zu straff und halten schlecht die Stimmung. Für eine Gitarre die nur an der Wand hängt bestimmt spitze. Zum spielen nicht zu empfehlen.für den Preis überleg ich nächsten mal länger ob ich mir wieder bunte Saiten bestell.
