This is a beautiful colour exactly as in the picture. It's very soft and feels luxurious.

Super Quality and Weight.
Fabulous quality for an amazing price. I used it for a backing board of a deep photo frame in which I positioned items from my fatherโs military history e.g. photo, medals, cap badge etc. My wife claimed the rest of the velvet for her dressmaking projects.

Not a good choice for photographic backdrop
I admit that most buyers won't be interested in the reason I purchased this - which was to use as a backdrop for flower photography. Sometimes it's useful to have a very black non-reflective backdrop when taking pictures of flower heads. Problem is, this velvet is a synthetic material and it shows lots of small sparkles when in bright lighting, so is basically useless as a backdrop material for macro photographs of subjects like flowers. It may well be fine for dressmaking, but I'm not qualified to comment on that.

Thick. Soft. Worth the money.
I got what I paid for. It has a bit too much shine but it will make great trousers. If you are looking for densely packed plush this isn't for you. Doesn't compare to cotton velvet but it is good enough quality for what I paid.

Excellent Value.
This fabric is absolutely beautiful, rich in colour and a nice weight. Also easy to work with and very good value, you couldn't expect more. I'll definitely be ordering more when needed.
