Do these work with the stock car door lights or do you need a projector light first??

This one works with larger projector that is attached by 3m tape to the door. I made this to work on oem projector which is swap on to existing light unit. For this to work i disasembled oem projector and took off its logo which is similar to this but smaller. Then i cut off logo film to fit and replaced and assembled back.
