Product: Sculpey III Oven Bake Clay Sampler 1oz, 30/pkg Overall impression: This clay is excellent for beginners and experts alike. Pros: - Soft. This clay is soft and easy to mold. It also makes it easy to blend colors together and create patterns. - Variety of colors. There's a color for anything that you'd like to do. We've used it for figurines and jewelry. 4 different people have used it and everyone has been very happy with the results. - Does not crack! I've used clay that has cracked or broken while baking, but these don't do that. They don't fade, crack, or change at all. Cons: - Since this is a variety pack, there's a small amount of each color. I would like it to have more white and black which are the most used colors, but you can just buy those separately. Would I recommend it? Definitely! This crafting skills is essential for quarantine and for relaxing. I 100% recommend it for anyone and everyone who wants to pick up an artistic hobby.

Beautiful colors and I have always used Sculpey. So I am always happy to use the clay.

I love the Sculpey clay sample pack. The clay is soft, and each color is approximately half the size of a regular pack—recommended product.

Great modeling clay. I bought this as a Christmas gift for my 9 year old. He loved the array of colors and immediately set about making mini model animals etc. The clay was very pliable and easy to work with, even for a 9 year old who has some fine motor skill problems. The clay hardened nicely in the oven following the directions and was pretty sturdy. When stored in plastic food save bags the clay has remained usable for going on 6 months. The clay did not stain our counter tops like other model clay brands we have used. Overall I was very impressed with the quality and price of this clay.

This non-drying claim is amazing! I love that it will stay malleable as long as you don't bake it. It's made of the same stuff that pvc pipe is made of so it is somewhat safe near electrical. I use it a lot near led lights on a model train and slot car layout. I keep some near my work office desk to sculpt in down time or on breaks. It comes off of fingers fairly easily with rubbing alcohol. The various colors make it fun to work with for various craft projects. I have some of this stuff from when I was in college (graduated in 1999) that is still malleable today!

This set includes 30 samples in the following colors: 042 - Black 323 - Emerald 515 - Violet 072 - Yellow 538 - Teal Pearl 360 - Camouflage 583 - Red Hot Red 1634 - Just Orange 1209 - Ballerina 1103 - Lt Blue Pearl 010 - Translucent 033 - Sweet Potato 063 - Blue 1140 - Deep Red Pearl 1101 - Pearl 1216 - Spring Lilac 1109 - Suede Brown 1629 - Granny Smith 1086 - Gold 1150 - Lemonade 355 - Gentle Plum 503 - Hot Pink 053 - Chocolate 093 - Beige 505 - Turquoise 322 - Leaf Green 1144 - Sky Blue 1130 - Silver 083 - Red 001 - White I really love the metallic and pearl finishes. You can very easily mix several colors together to get a different color or shade and it blends very nicely. The clay bakes really well and needs just 15 minutes per quarter inch of clay at 275 degrees. I do find that the Sculpey III shows the fingerprints really easily. I do prefer sculpey's Premo for the types of crafts I do, but the Sculpey III is great for beginning crafts.
