I bought this because it was priced right. Also, it was bright Orange so it would stick out in a crowd of wires and such plus I could nickname it "Donald" for a few laughsIt is very sturdy, has an impressive heft which experience tells me mean a better quality item in this category. It's USB port has a very snug fit that you have to work a bit to disengage but nice tight connections mean superior chargers normally and this one is no exception. I compared it to my factory QC 3 charger and Donald is noticeably faster. I didn't really think I would use the plug feature all that much but the 110v pass through outlet has proven itself quite handy and the adjustable footprint feature has been handier that I first imagined.Finally there's the "Ewwwww, what's that?" factor that makes it a great addition to the "Who has the coolest toys" game. Everyone who has seen Donald wants to play with it and when I tell them what a dynamite charger it is proving to be they invariably want one for their very own. It has also exceeded my expectations in garnering laughs but that's more about me than it is about the device I suppose.You can not go wrong here. It's a great charger that has additional benefits and you can get it so cheap you'll think you're stealing something.

This thing charges stuff so good. It's amazing how good this thing charges stuff. And it has never caught on fire, not even a little bit. Amazing!The plug prongs fold in to avoid snagging on clothes when you carelessly toss it into your suitcase or vagrant backpack. The plug also rotates for, umm, reasons. I guess this is so you can plug the charger into the wall, then swing the USB port from side to side while singing Wagon Wheel by Darius Rucker. That's what I do, anyway.

I spent days, literally, researching options for charging my fast charging Samsung S8. I didn't want just a regular USB phone charger. I wanted something that also had an outlet or two. I tried power strips that had 2.4 usb ports. I tried power strips that had the words "rapid" or "fast" in their descriptions. NONE of them actually "fast charge" my S8. There are some power strips out there that have Qualcomm 3.0 and they do work, but the prices are on or around $30. THIS ECHOGEAR charger is PERFECT. I am online tonight to order two more just like it. My hope is that they will make another version with 2 or 3 AC outlets AND the Qualcomm USB 3.0. I don't write a lot of reviews, but I seriously love this little thing. It charges my phone even faster than ANY of the fast charging Samsung chargers. Love, Love, Love.Update: I am still in love with this charger. I am buying my 4th today.

Perfect charging rate for Qualcomm . Love the rotational pass through plug in and fold up plug. Ground plug (3 hole) convenience.

Turbo charge function works with my Motorola phone. Seems durable and well made. Prongs fold flat so it is easy to stow for travel. 👍

Love the fast charge feature! No need to buy a second fast charger and also allows the top or bottom outlet plug to still be used thanks to the swivel feature. Overall very happy with this product and would purchase again.

I purchased 3 of these. Two for myself and one for a friend. One of the ones I keep for myself stopped working after using it a couple of times.Not quite sure what else to say. I won't be getting another one and I didn't bother contacting the manufacturer. I'm losing money working on this review. 🤷🏽‍♂️

Have yet to install it at my MIL's nursing home for her Amazon Echo but it appears to be high quality. Got it for the low profile it gives the USB cable, as the plug in for her Echo is against the wall behind her bed and I fear the nurses will crush the USB cable with the bedframe over time.
