happy!
Loved it! Was able to fit M42-NIK from old Zenit camera onto Nikon D80 body. Very happy with results. Obviously have to deal with manual focus. Build in flash - "ttl" regime needs to be changed. Works well with mounted flash. Can't change f-number (or maybe I have not figured how to, yet) Only for those who appreciate the manual work - do not expect miracles of "auto" - you will be disappointed.Sits well, easy set up / take down - I do change lenses often.For infinite focus - not bad, but definitely not the crisp clarity. I feel this comes from a relatively small f-stop number.

Performs well after modification
The adapter wont fit on a Nikon fullframe camera. The mirror in the camera hits the adapter and gets stuck.After some modifications including sanding down the metal ring that holds the lens in the adapter it works OK.Optically it's the best adapter i've tried so far. Pictures taken with it mounted doesn't seem to loose any sharpness.

Good material, bad performance
it is a well built adapter, however, it doesn't press the pin. If you have manual lenses then it is worth buying, otherwise it is a waste of money because this adapter won't press the pin.
