Evans Drum Heads - G2 Coated Tom Drumhead, 8 Inch

Bought new kit, purchased 8", 10", 12", 14" snare, 16", and clear 22" G2 floor clear. Don't intend writing a review for each. I love Evans gear, that's a very personal view, not suggesting they are better than others but I like the tone and all that business. Very much cheaper than the high street, perhaps as much as 30%. Had to buy the 8" from the high street because Amazon will only sell you 2 ???, don't need 2 !!!. All personal preference of course, middle of the road heads, do everything very well, recommend

Lo uso en tarola Piccolo steel de tama de 13", suena muy bien con diferente afinación, baja, media o alta, recomiendo ampliamente este parche Evans!!!

Nachdem ich Jahrelang nur Aquarian Super2 Coated gespielt habe, diese jedoch massive Lieferprobleme seit Corona haben, musste ich vor einer Livesituation auf Evans umsteigen - und will da auch nicht mehr weg. Die Dinger klingen Saugeil und sind zumindest an meinem Set super leicht zu stimmen. Ich hatte jetzt 6 Wochen später den nächsten Gig, Drums ohne stimmen aufgebaut. Was soll ich sagen, der Techniker kam nach dem Gig und hat sich bei mir bedankt dass ich so top gestimmt hat, er brauchte kein einziges Gate oder ähnliches. Ich denke das sagt viel über die Qualität aus. Sollten die Felle jetzt auch nur annähernd so lang halten wie die von Aquarian, würde ich sagen es sind die besten Felle die ich seit 20 Jahren gespielt habe.

Best sound available - I have used both Remo & Evans over the years (since 1970) but ALWAYS find Evans heads to be easier to tune, better sounding, and a more durable solution. On my Ludwig Keystone kit (oak & maple shells) & Pearl Export Select kit I use coated G2's on top, clear G1's on reso side (toms), EMad on batter and reso on bass drums, coated ST on snare batter, Hazy 300 on reso side. (wood snare 2.3mm hoops) On my Pearl Masters Series Mahogany kit - clear EC2's on top, Genera resonant (reso side) on toms, EMad on both sides of bass drum, coated G2 snare bater, hazy 300 reso side (wood snare) (all hoops die cast) coated G1 snare batter with hazy 300 redo (metal snare, 2.3mm hoops).
