Convenient and Comfortable – Perfect No-Tie Solution
I absolutely love the IBUNGEE Laces! These elastic no-tie shoelaces have been a game-changer for me. They were super easy to install, and once on, they fit perfectly. The elasticity is just right, giving a snug fit without feeling too tight, and they make putting on and taking off my shoes so much more convenient. I’ve been using them on my running shoes and they’ve held up great during workouts, staying secure without needing constant adjustment. The no-tie design makes my shoes look clean and neat, and I no longer have to worry about laces coming undone while I’m out and about. Overall, I’m really impressed with the quality and functionality of these laces. If you’re looking for a comfortable, durable, and hassle-free alternative to traditional shoelaces, I highly recommend IBUNGEE laces. Worth every penny!

Nice addition, makes a big difference
I've now tried three brands of locking laces, so I can do a comparative review. First off, let me say that I don't use these the usual way. I wear these with Top Sider sneakers to make the shoes feel more secure on my feet and to prevent laces from coming undone. I maintain the tied lace look by tying a traditional loop and double knot above the locking piece. I tie and untie them frequently, which involves sliding the laces through the locking piece. First to be used were the "10 Seconds" laces. They only come in one length so you have to cut one end to get each lace to size. Then you have to burn the cut end momentarily with a cigarette lighter to seal it. You pay a slight aesthetic penalty, but considering that it's on shoes that get battered no one will notice. The laces go easily through the lock piece and slide easily, too. The 10 Seconds lock piece was the best of the three. Verdict: Recommended -- if you have the nerve to burn them. Second to be tried were the "Lock Laces". These come in a variety of sizes, and unlike the other two brands they include a sort of alligator clamp in addition to the lock piece. You take the ends and put them in the alligator clamp and slide the clamp under the top of your shoelace. The lock piece, if you'll pardon my language, was a "bitch". My hands are lady sized but they're strong and I had to grimace and curse to get the damned things to open to allow the laces through or to slide them. The alligator clamps didn't work. They repeatedly let go, a sad excuse for an alligator. Verdict: Epic fail Third to have a go were the "iBungee". These, too, come in a variety of sizes. The lock pieces, although somewhat harder to work with than the 10 Seconds, were much easier than the Lock Laces. Be careful when removing the lock (to switch shoes) that you don't strip the plastic protectors off the lace ends. So, no aesthetic penalty and relative ease of use. Verdict: Recommended

Must have running shoe laces
I absolutely LOVE my IBUNGEE laces. I purchased a set for my Brooks running shoes a couple of years ago. I just got a 2nd set for my NEW Brooks shoes. My first set is still perfect and in great condition and I wear my Brooks a lot. They make putting shoes on and off so easy. I will always have these on my running shoes. They also just make wearing my shoes more comfortable.

No more tying shoes for me
Love these laces. Had ordered before but forgot the name ad had a problem finding them online again. I’ve been using elastic laces since my hip replacement in 2005, all my shores have them.

Suggest buying longer size
I love these laces but the length is way too short. I bought while away and sadly missed my return window. Packaging said will fit size 7 shoe but it's way too short. The three stars reflects the description vs actual size I needed. Other than that the quality seems good.

Easy To Adjust, Give Shoes A Great Fit & Feel
A friend gave me his pair of iBungee laces after he tried them and was dissatisfied with stretch laces generally. Plain and simple: I love them! I'd recommend them to others, especially runners and triathletes. Very nice in racing shoes, too, and completely eliminates the risk of laces coming untied. PROS: They lace up like regular shoelaces, then you slide the ends through the spring-lock and, optionally knot the ends together so the spring-lock can't inadvertently escape when they're loosened. The laces are really easy to adjust, tighter or looser, both at the spring-lock as well as along the shoe. The spring-lock uses a strong spring and hasn't lost its grip on the laces in >500 miles, something I can't say about the Lock Laces in my son's shoes. These make it very easy to customize the fit of the shoe along the foot, to snug it where you want and keep it from being over-tight elsewhere. The reflective model has a more textured surface that slides less easily through the lace holes, so perhaps the non-reflective version might self-adjust and distribute tension evenly as you run. That could be good or bad, depending on what you're trying to accomplish. For me, the forefoot and ankle portions can be differently tensioned and stay that way with no further attention, even on runs of over two hours. CONS: I have the reflective model and have noticed that the reflective portion seems to be "darkening" at the upper portion of the laces, which gets more frequent travel through lace holes and the spring-lock; the lower portion still looks like it's fresh out of the package.

For those whose arthritis makes it difficult to put shoes on, and adjust laces.
I have been using these laces for 8 years. I am 73 and had trouble putting on my tennis shoes. With these the shoes are easy on, easy off. They can be easily adjusted for late day foot swelling by just squeezing the included holder. I have 5 pairs of tennis shoes in daily rotation and these laces are in all of them. With my arthritis, it can be problematic to tie and retie laces, so these eliminate that issue. I highly recommend.

Great product at the best price around. Nice and long - will be able to use the extra length to replace these when they break (these do break after anywhere from 500-1000KM - to be expected). Lace locks don't break - just thread in the extra length you cut off when you first installed.

Makes a child with special needs who can't do shoelaces feel normal.

Super Ding.
