Damaged CD case .... What else is damaged?

I received this item promptly of which I appreciate, but the outer cover was cracked, which I found very annoying because it was meant to be a gift for a family member.The CD was seemingly intact, but it certainly doesn’t give much confidence on what the condition of the product is inside.
