Way better than expected for 20 !
This definitely isnt your cornerstore cheap-O $20 knofe .The quality really is awesome .clip is tight.the texture of the g10 scales are nice when wet .The opening flick is smooth .i will say the blade is D2 so be carefull, it's hard and will stay sharp but the tip will snap if it hits something hard .i love the jade semi-transparent scales are the best looking option in my opinion . Will buy another and is now my daily

Bang for the buck, just needs a little refining
Fun little knife. The blade is thick and tough. The D2 steel is quite a challenge to sharpen but will hold an edge very well. At first, the knife was stiff and rough around the edges. The liner lock was a little painful to disengage and the action wasnโt very smooth. I hollowed out a small curve in the G10 handle with a Dremel, near the liner lock and sanded down the sharp edges of the liner and clip screws with a 1500 grit wet/dry paper. So after some minor tweaks This knife is always around... its fun to flip and now closes with one hand. With G10 and D2 .. given its heft, this really is a solid โToolโ dressed as a sort of gentlemanโs pocket knife. Iโm really pleased with this purchase. Just remember to have patience (and diamond stones) When working with harder steels like D2.

Great value
I don't write a lot of reviews here, but I'm really happy with this knife. It has a couple of minor things I would like to be different, but those are not quality related. The quality for this price is outstanding. The quality on this folder is very good. If I were willing to pay 100 bucks for a pocket knife, I'd expect it to be like this little gem. But the thing is, I have a tendency to lose track of knives. And I like to have them squirreled away around the most likely places I use them, as well as in the cars. So 20 bucks is "high end". For years I preferred to stick with old skool knives - Barlows, canoes, toothpicks. Of late the steel in these types has been decreasing in quality in the budget models. Started branching out. Of late my favorite has been a Schrade(sch106). But I think that this Eafengrow is well worth the slight difference in cost. The only cons I see are the blade profile as delivered and the tip up carry using the pocket clip. I knew it was tip up when I bought it. As for the blade profile, this is common across the board. I'd like the bevel on the cutting edge to extend a bit further back from the edge, more similar to a flat ground blade. Hard to find in this price range. The overall blade profile suits my tastes as far as length and the shallow curve in the belly. It is ground from a blank that appears to be about 4mm thick at the base, so I can't imagine how I could ever damage it.[The micrometer is out in the shed or else I'd have measured it for y'all]. I would like to find something similar that is a bit thinner maybe. Not a big deal. Good utility blade for the money. It is not a razor knife, but it could play one on TV. It made short work of the 6 or 7 boxes I needed to stuff in recycle bin.

Good quality and value
Very good quality knife for the price. Easy to open with smooth action and easy to hold.

Thick for size
I really like eafengrow knives. I have quite a few knives in my collection, ranging from more expensive spyderco and emerson models to a range of $20-ish knives. These are fun to mess around with. The only issue with this model is that for a smaller pocket-carry, it's pretty thick. It'd be an awesome daily knife with the blade size but sadly it's just too thick IMO for the length. Other than that, grind is even, lock is secure, action is smooth, fit and finish are great.

Well made
Awesome utility knives. They are well made for the price. I bought a few of them and put them everywhere and give them to my family.

Great quality, small, easily carried.
I was shopping for a small knife to be a gift for someone I knew did not like a large or heavy knife in their pocket. This model is even smaller than I estimated, is light, and could be easily carried in dress pants. Though the quality and function are superb, I deducted a star for a lack of indent at the liner lock. It is flush with the handle. I have large calloused working hands and would have to hold the blade with my left hand to stabilize as I forced a finger into the lock release. The intended recipient has giant calloused working hands, so before gifting, I dissaassembled the knife and filed an inlet above the lock release, into the opposite handle. The recipient is now able to manipulate adequately, and is impressed with the lasting sharpness. For those who would like to know, the blade is only beveled leading up to the cutting edge, which I could not determine from the photos. The Eafengrow I carry myself is beveled all the way to the blade spine, and can be passed through many layers of cardboard easily, without being grabbed by the work.

Pleasantly Surprised
Order for my hubby and wasnโt really expecting much. Turns out was one of my better purchases for him and he loves it. Blade holds a nice sharp edge and glides smoothly when opening and closing.
