Eddy+ Replacement Cap and Straw for Eddy+ Bottles, Black

A perfedt fit and replacement for my damaged cap.

I have three old Camelbak Eddy's from like 2013-2016. They've worked well and have held up, but there is mold under the straw valve area that I cannot clean out. The housing unit where this is underneath the lid is not easy to access to remove that little valve/nozzle to properly clean it. Since the Eddy's are no longer made and I didn't want to get rid of perfectly good water bottles I decided to take a chance and purchase the Eddy+ lid to see if it would fit. Other reviewers said it did and it does, perfectly! For both my 600ml and my 750ml Eddy. I just put it on my water bottle last night to use and have no issues. When I hold it upside down it doesn't leak and when I held it upside down on an angle it didn't leak (picture shown of this with my 600ml Eddy). I'm hopeful that the little nozzle area on the Eddy+ will be easier to clean should mold start to form. I've attached pictures of the old lid which i slight gray and the new lid which is black to show the comparison of the little nozzle thing I'm talking about. One thing to note is that the straw that comes with this is long, too long for my 750ml, but they're easy to cut. The design of the straw opening is slightly different (wider hole) than the previous Eddy, but the old straw does still fit and it's what I'm using this morning.

Excellent! My cap was damaged. Now I can now use my Eddy+ without sucking in all kinds of air. And the price was great. Soooo happy!

Great replacement top, fit perfectly on my CamelBak.

I wanted a bite valve lid for my Summit bottle by Simple Modern and went on the hunt for one that might fit since SM doesn't make one. This lid turned out to be almost perfect. It's a bit of a tight fit to screw on and may eventually strip the lid inside, but once it's on it doesn't leak and has worked great for daily use over 4 weeks so far. I haven't had any issues with the opening the in the bite valve being sealed or leaking anywhere like some reviews state, however I don't pack my bottle in a bag or lay it on its side ever so it still may not be watertight. If you plan to use it with a Simple Modern bottle, just know the straw length is a bit too short for the taller bottles (22oz, 40oz, 84 oz) so I have about 2 inches of water left in the bottle once the straw no longer reaches and I need to refill. I looked into just getting Camelbak Eddy+ bottle, but they don't offer nearly as many patterns and colors as other brands like SM. I also see that they offer a longer straw for the old version of the Eddy that would solve the length issue with mine, but I don't think those straws fit these lids. Bottom line: If you're looking for a good bite valve lid for a standard flask bottle of another brand with a 2.25 mouth opening, I highly recommend trying this one. I can't speak to the leakproof qualities, but the bite valve has worked without issue for me.

It fit my 1L/32oz camelbak perfectly. Was able to replace just the lid because I wanted a straw without needing to buy a new water bottle. Tested shaking it around (closed) and no water leaked out. Wasn’t sure how to connect the straw at first (push through the rubber inside the lid).

I have 7+ year old bottles and the lids finally started leaking. These replacement lids fit but the new straws are too long for the older bottles. The old straws do fit the new lids, so it all works out! The new lids are bulkier and bigger than the old lids. The new mouthpiece doesn't draw water as fast, and it also requires biting down differently, but I'm sure I'll adjust soon. I'm happy I didn't have to throw away the old bottles since they are still in great condition after several years of daily use. Props to CamelBak for making the new lids fit the old bottles instead of being greedy and requiring consumers to buy new bottles.

I have an Under Armor bottle that I really like. But the flip top with a spout doesn’t always open and I like using a silicon straw. It’s frustrating when you want to use just 1 hand when biking. I tried caps from some of my other water bottles but the issue was the threads. This CamelBak looked like it was worth giving a try. I tried it right away after it arrived. The threads seemed to match but initially it didn’t tighten down. But after I tried again I got it to work. I turned it upside down and moved it around vigorously and showed no leaks. The straw can be opened with 1 hand. Making it easier to use when biking and giving me my silicon straw.the cap is sturdy and the uncut straw reached the bottom of the bottle. A thin straw cleaner brush will go down through the silicone straw, which will assist in keeping it clean. The cap looks like it will withstand the obligatory drops that my water bottles go through. CamelBaks require that you bite the straw to drink so remember that.

Les valves de mes anciennes gourdes ne ce vendent plus, du coup j'ai tenté ma chance en changeant le système. C'est parfait! Compatible avec mes deux gourdes. Le système est même plus efficace que l'ancien. Preuve en photo 📷

Fits the old Eddy bottles just fine. This revised design is better. It is easier to clean and the silicone nubbin is more leak resistant. Been using it every day for two years now.
