Transformers Generations Voyager Class Grimlock Figure

Hollow but it serves a purpose for the transformation. Great looking figure and the light up feature is amazing. Fun to transform with both a good looking sword and shield. Overall a great figure.

Ok, this Grimlock is by no means perfect. In fact he is extremely hollow but quite fun. Here are the pros & cons for this figure. Pros: *light up head gimmick in dino mode, the bulb is red & so bright that if you shine it at your eyes you'll see spots for a minute, a fun gimmick considering his fire breath in the video game & cartoons, it also lights up his chest in robot mode *weapons are game accurate & fit nicely on him in both modes *transformation is fun & easy *he's tall & looks good next to the other fall of cybertron figures *excellent articulation in robot mode: ratchet shoulders, hinged ratchet hips, knees, & elbows, shoulder swivel, bicep swivel, thigh swivel, wrist swivel, & head is on a ball joint *good articulation in dino mode: ratchet knees, ball joint shoulders, toe tilt, & mouth opens, (you can make his legs move forward & back if you move them out to the sides a little) Cons: *plastic quality isn't great (mostly on the torso & lower legs/tail) *torso is very very hollow So, in conclusion transformers generations fall of cybertron voyager class Grimlock is a very fun & very awesome figure, great for any kid or collector & worth retail price but not worth the just over $49 some are charging for him.

I have really been underestimating the Generations line. A little bit too much here lately. Grimlock is one of those I've gravely underestimated. Grimlock honestly was never one of my big favorites but he was still a very likeable character. He transforms into a dinosaur! how can that not be awesome. Anyway. Read on to see how I underestimated this guy and why you need to add him to your collection ASAP! Beast Mode. Grimlock transforms into a cybertronian Tyrannosaurus Rex. This Grimlock is truly King of the Generations line and of all previous Grimlock's released. Beast mode looks really cool. For one he is essentially and updated version of the G1 Grimlock but still relatively unchanged. He is pretty poseable. I love the ball jointed arms as opposed to the rotating joints on the g1 version. By far the coolest gimmick with this figure is the light up gimmick. Grimlock's eyes and mouth lights up. Looks super cool. This is by far the best use of a light up gimmick I have ever seen in a transformers Toy. Well played Hasbro. Grimlock is pretty sizeable in beast mode. He is at least two or three times bigger than his g1 counterpart. And his scale works pretty darn well with the rest of the Generations line. I was kinda upset with how small FOC Optimus was but ultimately this worked out really well. Grimlock stands well in any pose you can think of, and holds together very well. Transformation is super simple. It will really take you back to G1 Grimlock as it's basically an updated transformation. This is going to be super easy for the kids. I would say 6 and up should have no problem at all. Grimlock is very fun to transform despite his simplictiy. I love how his head actually tucks in his back instead of just hanging there. A great thing too. Nothing gets in the way. I love a smooth transformation. Robot Mode...Im at a loss for words. Grimlock looks absolutely amazing. Poseability is great, the sculpt is dead on. Im a huge huge fan of the modded Autobot logo. It's very bad______! It's great the the Dinobot have thier own faction logo now. The light up gimmick also works in robot mode too lighting up his chest. This, like the lights in the eyes and mouth works beautifully. The chest illuminates and has the look like he stepped out of the TV screen. This truely is a toy straight from the game.Surprisingly his sword is pretty screen accurate too. Overall this is an easy 10 out of 10. This beats the masterpiece grimlock easy in my opinion. Make sure you add this grimlock to your collection today. You wont regret it.

The robot mode of this thing is fantastic. It looks like it will be top heavy, but it still seems to have enough balance to take a dynamic pose, which is always a plus. It's also a very sturdy figure, so it should be good around kids. However, hard plastic is used for the blade so if you have young kids, then that might need to be taken into consideration. The only real flaw with this figure is the dinosaur mode, primarily due to its limited range of movement. However, the robot mode is just so awesome that it's about as near perfect as a figure can be. Highly recommended.

Brilliant planned to buy this last year for my little boy but it was 100 quid this year 35 cannot go wrong

Super Roboter modus und klasse Dino Modus Erinnert sehr Stark an das 80er original und bringt doch viele neue details ein.

Sehr gute Verarbeitung mein Sohn ist begeistert.Lässt sich ziemlich einfach verwandeln .Ziemlich genau Form nach dem verwandeln. Ist eine Empfehlung wert.

I think that this was not a new toy. It came without any packaging. The toy is still the same, but I was under the impression that I was buying a new toy. Very expensive for a second hand toy.
