I absolutely loved reading my arc copy of Lift by Alexa Riley.I instantly fell in love with this story. I couldn't get enough.The story was hot as hell with plenty of excitement. The characterswere fabulously written with a beautiful undeniable connection betweenthem. This is a definite must read that would be a shame to miss out on reading.

This was an original story line and that in and of inself is refreshing. It is a tad slower paced with a small amount of action/angst. It was on the sweet side rather then the dirty site. It was a fun read.

Alexa Riley promises insta love, no cheating, and an HEA with all their books and this one is no different. This is the story of Sloan and Harris.Sloan is working as a Lift driver to make ends meet while crashing on a friends couch until she can get her own place. She has a very famous family that has caused her awful problems. Harris refurbishes old theatre’s. He calls a Lift driver to take him home from work and see’s Sloan just one look and he’s hooked. Harris swoops in like a knight in shining armor and changes Sloan’s life for the better and forever.This book is not full length, has steamy scene’s recommended for adults only, and is very sweet. It was worth the read and the price. Enjoy!

Sloan finds her life destroyed, homeless, being attacked by strangers and bearing the brunt for a crime her family committed. But she doesn't let tall that bring her down, instead she continues to forge ahead and make something out of life for herself with the unexpected help of a 'so called friend' with ulterior motives.But her life changed for the better, since the night she met Harris, who took a shine to her and laid claim to her the said night he met her. And nothing anyone said a out her would dissuade him from laying claim to her as his. His protective and possessive streak of her only makes her feel loved and desired. Something she has never felt in her entire life.

Sloan and Harris' story was an absolute delight that I devoured in one sitting! I already cannot wait to reread it.Sloan's had a tough go of it, and is grasping at straws, trying to figure out how to get her life back on track, but knowing that she wants to do it by herself, for herself, and at the same time, aware that beggars cannot be choosers with some of the difficult decisions she needs to make. Harris is the definition of a workaholic who doesn't quite know when to stop, since he has nothing to stop for. One car ride later, and everything changes. The question, however, is, can it last?True to form, Alexa Riley have written another delightful, delicious story, which captured my heart, and had me rooting for the characters until the very end! I love Alexa Riley's books. They are my go to when I want a quick read. I always enjoy myself. This one was super sweet. I really liked Sloan and Harris together. I loved how quick this book moved. Yet it was tastefully done. It was sincere. It was honest. It was right up my alley with what I needed to read. I just finished a book that left me with less than desirable intent. I wasn't a huge fan. But this book made thing all better. I liked the interactions between Sloan and Harris. They had mad chemistry. I wasn't a huge fan of Cara (Sloan's friend). Well, she ended up not really being a friend, more like taking advantage of Sloan when she had no where to go.This was me fantastic read. I throughly enjoyed it.

This was another hot sexy short read. This one brings a wealthy businessman to a poor girl who has taken up being a driver to get money to keep herself afloat. There is some crazy side characters, a possessive man, and a lot of sexy times.

I love Harris and Sloan! They are so cute and just completely swoony! Alexa Riley has come through again with a quick hot sweet HEA and an ott protective hero. Love!
