Gabrielle Headboard, Queen, White Washed

So bummed! For the price I paid I would have hoped they would have looked at what they were sending me. So what I was excited to put at the head of my bed this evening is covered in webs & dead (hopefully all of them) bugs. So now I get to deep clean something BRAND NEW and probably going to freak out for a while that bugs will be crawling out of it.

We just got a year-round weekend/holiday home on the coast so trying to furnish it in a way that is vacation-friendly, comfortable, featuring warm colors and textures, subtly coastal, and be efficient with our budget! This rattan headboard is lovely. It's solid, heavy, sturdy. I didnt want to get a cheap black metal bed frame so I got a wood platform bed and I while knew I would have to adapt the bedframe for a headboard, I am on my third set of brackets and still not there yet LOL. Fortunately the headboard is indeed solid and heavy and I was able to attach the legs and lean it against the wall for now. I appreciate the company packaging everything so well, it arrived in absolutely perfect condition and with all the parts and pieces it needed. We paired the bed with a Tommy Banana quilt, Safavieh pineapple lamps, and inexpensive Decor Therapy side tables if anyone is interested.

I ordered the whitewashed & I like the way it looks in the room, however the quality is poor with lots of loose “strings” that have to be pulled off the edges of the bamboo. Two of the bamboo pieces look grey rather than whitewashed bamboo. Also had to hammer in nail heads and staples that were not applied properly. So, i did all the repair work and wiped it down (it was quite dusty). Attached the legs. They are 2” too wide for my full size bed!!! I’m so annoyed. Now I have to hire a carpenter to figure out how to get this headboard attached. The headboard is in no way worth what I paid for it. And now it’s going to cost me more $$ to have it adjusted to fit properly.

There are a few things that were less than satisfactory, 1st the picture and description showed a distressed white which is what I wanted, it came with a small amount of white but mostly brown. 2nd on the legs, each side has 3 holes for the screws provided, 2 holes lined up but the 3rd hole was an 8th inch off. After turning it around it was still off. I installed the 2 screws on each side then got a over sized drill bit and wollowed out the hole so I could get the last screw in. I have ordered several things from Amazon had a couple broken items but they were all taken care of. This, so far is the only thing that I was not satisfied with. I tried to send it back but the UPS tore said it was too big to return and it needed to be sent back by truck, didn't now where to take it.

My husband and I have frequented Indonesia for years. We were married in Bali with a traditional Balinese wedding. I was so excited to find this head board to go with my Balinese bedroom. If you are looking for perfection this is not the headboard for you. It is obvious this piece of furniture was made by hand. If you want a stunning headboard that comes with a phenomenal thumb print of cultural pride, this is perfect. It is sturdy, well built and gorgeous.

Love it, this was just what I wanted and it doesn't 'have' to be connected to the frame, ie, if bed and frame are up against the wall. Makes everything feel and look so luxurious. Turn it upside down and press it against a wall with something to assemble the legs to the frame. LOVE this purchase, thanks.

Great in our spare bedroom with a beach vibe. The white washed look was exactly as pictured. Very happy with it!

I own a design and staging company we love this hard board

It is exactly what I was looking for. Well made, well packaged... beautiful to look at. It creates a light and airy look. Goes well with French white hand-painted furniture and chiffon bedskirt.The only drawback is that the holes on the headboard to attach to the Zinus bedframe did not line up. They will have to be drilled. For now, the headboard just sits against the wall and it's fine.
