is this suitable for exterior gas pipe please?

I have used the insulation on the plastic condenser pipe of a gas boiler which runs outside the house to the main drain. It has been in place for the last winter and shows no ill effects of rain or freezing temperatures. However we live on the south coast where there has been limited subzero weather.

would this fit on a 38mn pipe ?

I used it on 40mm outside diameter plastic condensate drain pipe so should be OK.
