Although it takes almost a month to get it, the faucet is stunning and working well. Attention: if you have a cat that can get close to the faucet, beware your cat will set motion sensor to run water. Good news, this faucet runs motion censored water for limited time only. How do i know it? I cook and wash dishes a lot. When i used motion sensors without touching the faucet to wash dishes it turns off in about two minutes. And yes, for motion sense to work you need batteries.

I would not buy this faucet again. It is indeed beautiful and seems a high quality unit in appearance and manual function. For some reason it turns on by itself without anything near the electric eye. And I placed the soap dispenser 12 inches away from electric eye.. We live in an area with a septic system and are very worried it will auto activate when we are out. Unless Moen can fix we will have to toss it out. Update, the problem was caused by an aftermarket power source claiming to be motion sense compatible. When I used the batteries the faucet electric eye had performed flawlessly!

I hate this faucet. First, it is far too small for a modern sink. I just put in a new sink with a standard 36" cabinet (and not a deep sink either) and you have to lean in or stretch your arms out to reach the water flow because it doesn't extend to the middle of the sink. This makes NO sense and I thought Moen had enough of a reputation to understand good design. I literally feel the strain on my back and arms if I'm washing dishes for an extended period of time. Second, the water can only be set for motion sensor at ONE flow level which is full blast. You can set temperature but not water flow so if you motion it on to rinse a glass or plate, water goes everywhere because it's hitting the dishes at full stream. Another design flaw! My last motion sensor faucet was great but Costco wasn't selling it anymore so I figured I would upgrade since I was remodeling my entire kitchen (I'll probably put back the old one!) - big mistake! I purchased this in early June as I expected my countertops to be installed in June but there was a delay so they weren't installed until July, thus the faucet not installed until July and now I can't return it because of an ABSURD 30-day window for returns! $400+ out the window for a junk faucet! And trying to call the company is ridiculous - basically the message says they are too busy to take calls and they can call you back - TOMORROW! I thought I was dealing with a company with a good reputation for these types of products but I guess not - another buyer beware!

So, we’ve had this faucet for one and half years. It’s very nice and I really love it! HOWEVER, there seems to be a design flaw. When the batteries die you can no longer get water from the faucet until you replace the batteries. You CANNOT manually turn on your water at your kitchen sink. Therefore you have to take everything out from under the sink and crawl back there and replace the batteries to restore water. Uggggghhhh I get that it needs batteries for the touch feature but whhhhhyyyyyy can’t it still work manually? Seems like a design flaw to me.

Love it just the color is more rose gold than true gold. Works great

Bought this for a rental prop that had a much more expensive, 2yr old Grohe Zedra faucet that failed. Our plumber made several trips over there to troubleshoot the Grohe and finally called to say that he thinks it's an internal defect because the leak is coming from up inside the faucet itself and not at any of the connections. This Moen has similar aesthetic lines to the Grohe and great reviews, so we gave this a try. I have no first hand use of this faucet, so I can only relay the feedback I've gotten from our tenants. - - they love it. I hesitated ordering the hands free version of this, thinking it might be one more thing that can go wrong in a rental. I'm glad I ended up ordering it because our tenants specifically mentioned enjoying that feature. The one general downside to chrome finishes, is that it shows water spots very easily. Our tenant mentioned that there's much less of a need to constantly wipe down the faucet after each use, because using this hands free feature means you aren't touching the faucet with dirty or wet hands when you turn it on and off. They also mentioned that the water pressure is much better and stronger with this faucet, and the spray options make clean up much easier. Since this faucet was literally a swap out with the previous one, it's safe to say that it's the faucet that's responsible for the better water pressure and not the plumbing or overall water system of the house. The only downside to this, is that after hearing them rave about the touchless wave feature of this faucet, I'm feeling like I need to replace the faucet in my own kitchen as well.

we were very specific about what we wanted. When we purchased the united, it looked fantastic and was easy to install. However, the unit didn't work. But with a quick phone call to their customer service, they replaced the unit with no questions asked and the new unit arrived within 5 days. I installed the new unit and it works great. We have had it now for about a month and can't see going back to a non motion dection faucet. All in all, I would highly recommend this faucet. It is pricey though and it's a hard pill to swallow but with most pills, it's good for you. It makes you feel better in the end.

The actual color is a bit dark, but the quality is very good. It just doesn't look as consistent with the gold color if paired with gold.

Purchased this faucet after my motion sensor old faucet died. This faucet is great, the motion sensor is in a location to the side so you don't accidently trigger the faucet. Installation was really simple, and the batteries are separate from the sensor control box and can be mounted in a more convenient location, making changing battery's much easier than other brands! Another great feature I like is that you can disable the motion sensor by simply holding your hand in from my of the sensor, instead of needing to go under the cupboard to the control box. All around a great faucet and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a hands free faucet!

Only had it for a couple weeks, but so far it Works beautifully. The gold is pretty strong considering all of our handles are a lighter gold, but it just means the faucet looks like a main feature. Love the motion sensor - so important for me, as I bake cakes

Very, very poor control over the flow. The temperature control is also very poor. You cannot get a slow drip, literally impossible (see video) Moen replaced every part except the handle under warranty, and I followed the calibration procedure but it still is basically all on or all off.
