Q: How well does it sound for outside weddings? (if yove tried it)

Have always used indoors but it does have an "output" jack on it so you could add to it for extra output.

it requires an outlet. no battery pack.

Q: Will it record the presentation threw the RCA jack

Denon Pro support here! The RCA jacks on the Lectern Active is an aux input intended to play audio from another source like a CD player or other system. Technically, with the XLR output, you can send all of the audio going through the Lectern Active out to a recording device. Q: Does it have an input so I can use it with a lapel mic?

There is no specific input for Lapel Mic, however, if the Lapel Mic can interface with a normal microphone plug (multipin), it could work to uplug the provided Mic and put that in place. The unit does have a USB port but it might only be for charging/powering devices at the stand. Have never tried it for a microphone to see if it is an actual input.
