Panasonic KX-TG833SK Link2Cell Bluetooth with Talking Caller ID 3 Handset Cordless Phone (Renewed)

Following other reviews, I decided to replace my old Panasonic phones with the latest as they were starting to wear out (bought in 2005). Boy, there have been a lot of great updates to these phones. I loved that I was able to download all my cell contacts with literally the push of a button, and it went to all 3 phones. I like the bluetooth feature where the Panasonic rings when my cell does, making for more answering options if my cell isn't handy. Caller ID also announces who is calling as the default. There's much more, but I haven't finished playing with the other features yet. Also, these phones look like new. There wasn't a speck, scratch or smudge on any part of the phones, even deep in the grooves. I very much recommend these phones to anyone looking to replace their landline phones and save half the price.

Wasn’t sure what to expect from this product as all my previous house phones had always been purchased new and in a box from a retail store. As one of the last holdouts that still want a ‘house phone,’ I also didn’t want to spend big bucks for a phone either. I find this 3 unit phone system every bit as good as new phones. The sound quality is good and the functions are easy to use and work great. Good product at a decent price.

I bought this phone so I could use the Bluetooth feature to talk on the phone without holding the headset. I had other Panasonic DECT phones so I very experienced with them. The voice phone is flawless, sound is good and as expected did not disappoint. I don't use the voicemail feature so I can't pass judgement on that as I have voicemail already in the line which I prefer. I connected my cell to the phone and it works as promised I can also hear incoming texts senders names as well as answer incoming cell calls through the Panasonic phone. With the Panasonic app you can import your cell phone contacts to the Panasonic phone directory a nice feature. However, the Bluetooth headsets needs improving. First, it's not compatible with earbuds of any kind. Most new Bluetooth headsets are not compatible either. Panasonic says your headset must support Bluetooth HSP but the newer Bluetooth headsets dont support HSP profiles and won't pair. It supports Bluetooth 2.1 but again only cheaper headsets think one ear only older mono ones work. On the Panasonic support site they list ones that has been tested but the list is not large and the models old or discontinued so a better headset will not work but a cheap old mono one will pair. This reason loses a star as there is no reason to make the Bluetooth work with a larger set of Bluetooth headsets or work with the newer standard.

I was uncertain about buying a refurbished phone but I’ve purchased this brand in the past with positive experience and this version had the features I was looking for. When I saw what a brand new one cost, double the price, I decided to give it a try and felt better about it thanks to Amazon’s 90 day renewed guarantee, in case something was wrong. I've had this for about a month and it’s working perfectly so far. It had all original bases and cords as well as an original instructional manual. The handsets looked new. Only one of the three had a tiny scratch and it didn’t bother me. One of the charging bases had one little piece of lent down in the plug where the ac adapter connects but everything else was spotless and looked brand new. Ringer is loud enough and I like the different ring tone options. I can clearly hear those I’m speaking to on both the speaker phone option and the handset. The connection is clear. Sometimes it is hard to understand the caller ID announcement over the ringing. The phone cuts the volume of the ring as the name and number are being announced, but there is a slight delay before the volume drops and often I miss part of what’s being said. The mirror black looks nice but I’m not a big fan of the amber backlight. I’ve not used the cell phone Bluetooth connect feature yet so I cannot comment on that. This was a great price for a product that’s working like it was brand new and at half the price I’m happy I took a chance.

I was hesitant to buy this refurbished phone but it works well. It looks brand new too. I especially like that I can answer my cell phone on this phone. Seems to never fail that my cell rings when I’m upstairs and the phone is downstairs. Now I can answer the call on the handset. I also like the call block feature. Set up was easy. Great value for the money.

Who do I contact one of the charger bases does not work .How do I get a replacement Please let me know everything else works and there a nice product.just need 1 charger and I am set.

I have bought this phone as a replacement for my 10+ year old Vtech cordless phone. Because the added blue tooth functionality, and be able to link to my cell phone. But the phone is completely unusable, the buzzing noise on it was so loud I can't even hear myself talking, much less other end of the phone. I applied for the return item the very next day (1 day after I received item) now Good As New Electronics keeps on saying the item is not defective, charge me both original shipping costs and return shipping cost, with additional 20% restocking feed. Do not buy from this company, you will not only get defective phone, and after returning it you will be charged for almost 50% of the phone price. And they can sell the same defective phone again, because they 'tested and found not to be defective'. (their exact word to me in email). Buy from someone else.

Anteriormente habíamos probado otras marcas, pero éstos han sido por mucho los mejores teléfonos que hemos adquirido. Tienen todas las funciones que se requieren en casa, se escuchan perfecto, lo único es que en algunas ocasiones parece como si se fuese a cortar la llamada, pero no estamos seguros si son los teléfonos o el servicio telefónico, por lo demás todo está muy bien.
