Les Miserables: Abridged, with Introduction and Notes (Classic Reprint) Hardcover – 27 July 2018

-pages aren't numbered-edition seems to be printed from a word document that has not been reviewed-there are typos everywhere-it's not the full story and you wouldn't know since there is no explanation about the book whatsoeverI feel cheated and like I have to read it again from another edition, publisher where I can trust that the story is the most authentic possible and integral.

Found the recent TV serial a bit difficult to follow and haven't seen the musical. Amazed how long winded the book is. Am up to Book 3 and Fantine has just put in an appearance!

Awful! Very disappointing. Not worth it - just rubbish. Supposed to be a French text but has spelling mistakes and weird words in different languages hidden in the text

I note that the book was printed in Poland and I am not sure that the printer knows French! Some sentences do not make much sense and I am sure it is not Victor Hugo's fault! Also, the pages are not numbered, which is very unusual. Still, I carry on reading.

The print is so small it looks like a mouse wrote it. I was hoping for bigger print given the size of the book, but no. I can't face 1600 pages of killing my eyes.

Although it appears to be from the description, this is not the complete version of Les Miserables, only the first part, Fantine. The layout is poor with no page numbers. Some words are incorrectly spelt. The Amazon Kindle version is much better and is complete.

Feeling distinctly short-changed. The book I received was only Book 1 not the complete work. Nothing I am aware of indicated that at the time of ordering. Extremely disappointing

I read Les Miserables in highschool when i got cast in the musical. It is a daunting read for many people but is a story that is very close to my heart. I have a few of the barnes and Noble collectable editions but this is the most stunning one, in my opinion. The font is great, the gold-gilded pages are light but high quality. The cover is just classic. They really didnt over design this one. The fine gold filagree is delicate and not garish, and it has the classic image of Cosette front and center. If you are a lover of classic literature and the feel of a quality book, you jave to add this to your collection!

Juste en feuilletant le livre je découvre des fautes de tournures de phrases et d'orthographe. Et le résumé à l'endos est illisible et clairement mal traduit de l'anglais. Très déçue.
