Kitchen Scissors Heavy-Duty Utility Come-Apart Kitchen Shears - Ultra Sharp

I'm very happy with these kitchen scissors. They're sharp, strong, and the comfortable handles make all the extra functions (bottle opener, nut cracker, etc.) easy to use. They work exactly as described, but the best feature by far is that you can take them completely apart. This makes it easy to thoroughly clean the blades and pivot area, so you never have to worry about germs or bacteria building up in the joints. It’s a simple but essential design for food safety. A truly versatile and sanitary kitchen tool.

Best for cutting chicken. I love that it separates. It makes it super easy to wash. It's very light weight and has a great grip.

This is my second pair of these awesome shears. Bought my first pair maybe close to three years ago, but a family member used them regularly to cut bones and whatnot. He also washed them in dishwater containing bleach and allowed them to "drip-dry," something you're not supposed to do. He may have also placed them in the dishwasher. It's probably my fault for not telling him not to do those things. As a result, the first pair have dulled quite a bit. I only purchased them to trim the skin and fat off chicken. Cooking shears make that job a breeze! My first pair were great! When I began using them, I was SO pleased! Now I've purchased a second pair that are for "ME" to use. I will take excellent care of them, so I know they will last for a very long time.

Bought these as a gift for a friend, tried em out, and came straight back here to order a pair for myself. They're SUPER sharp and fit my hands well. Someone in another review had mentioned them being too large for their hands, so I hesitated at first. After I tried the ones I bought my friend, I was sold!! My hands are small as well, but I don't like my fingers to be scrunched up when I'm trying to use scissors. So the finger holes are perfect! I also like the way they're made as far as coming apart for cleaning because there's NO WAY they're gonna come apart while being used like lots of others apparently do.

I'm an old lady. I've had these for 7 years. They're right in front of me on my puter desk. I just used them to reduce a large cardboard box into small pieces which fit in my kitchen trash can. Also just chopped up a large dog food bag. Cooking? Stand at the stove and snip celery, carrot, scallion, parsley etc. into the pot. Trim the fat off that pork chop or chicken breast. Cut up a chicken. Debone a chicken thigh. Got a rotisserie chicken? Pull it off the and snip it into pretty pieces. I don't like shredded chicken. Versatile household tool!

Great kitchen shears. Comfortable to use and cuts through anything. I use it primarily to cut up recycleables like plastic food take out containers which it does effortlessly. It seems quite sturdy and durable as I have been using it for some time now

Nice, solid, quality kitchen scissors. I love the mechanism that keeps the two halves together - it come apart easily but not so much so that it happens when you don’t want it to (my last pair did that and it was annoying.) They’re a nice size and on the heavier side so good and solid. Comfortable to hold. My roommate used them for the first time and commented, “oh wow I really like these new scissors.” I haven’t tried the peeler feature - I didn’t buy it for that and don’t really foresee using it at all. I wanted a pair that came apart for cleaning and had the recessed area on the blade for cutting larger items. These scissors had what I wanted and more and the price is good. Also, the seller contacted me twice. Right after I ordered, to let me know there had recently been problems with their item numbers resulting in people receiving the wrong item, that they were working to resolve it, and instructions on what to do if that happened. (I got the correct item.) Then they contacted me after it arrived with a general thank you note. So seller seems responsive and attentive should there be any issues down the road. Highly recommend.

These scissors are sharp, well balanced in my hands and easy to clean as they come apart with ease. Highly recommend for the price.

Cumbersome, awkward to use, separate at the blink of an eye. Very sharp though. April 2026 update. I’m not sure I really want to use them in the kitchen, they are corroding along the blades and joints. They are too awkward to use in crafts or general usage, so sorry they are heading for the bin and lesson learned.

Heavy duty kitchen shears ...great for the kitchen and perfect to clean ...no hidden surfaces. They are sharp and perfect for trimming meat in the butcher shop where I work, hard to keep track of because everyone is grabbing them.
