Not good for speakerphone
I searched specifically for speakers that work well as a speakerphone & this one came up. It was a present for my Dad & that is primarily how I talk to my parents.My review is not based on performance as a speaker for music. I do recognize that it is quite inexpensive, however, I would say not worth the money.When used as a speakerphone, the mic on the unit is clearly not very sensitive (as compared to the mic on an iPhone) the sound from the mic is quiet & low quality.Disclaimer ... I am an audio engineer professionally. I say this, not to assert that my opinion is correct, only to say that my threshold for this low quality rubbish lasted no more than a couple of minutes before I asked my Dad to turn it off.YMMV
