Others I have use metallic clips which don't seem to last long before breaking. These Perry suspenders use a clip-on to the belt with no moving parts. They work well and are easy to attach. I think they will hold up. One small issue: many trousers (not all) have a belt loop in the center of the back exactly where suspender clip should be. So the rear strap is offset a little.
