Beyond that, the RPM required to speed up was much higher than it was supposed to be, leading to lost power and higher ATF temperatures. Now, it almost feels like a new transmission! It’s not perfect, there’s still some hitching in the shifts, but it’s not nearly as bad as it was, even with all new ATF, and once it’s warmed up, sometimes shifting is invisible. No problems whatsoever...Please make sure you change those 3rd or 4th pressure switches & add a magnetic filter, while wiping clean the drain bolt if you have a 6 speed before you blame the fluid.
