I have definitely wasted money by buying cheaper models, while I was expecting the quality of this mirror. Time and time again, I was disappointed. I know it's fairly expensive, but it's worth it. The mirror is the largest one I've ever seen, which I love. The brightness is wonderful. It's worth the money, especially when doing eye makeup. I am 65, and I wear glasses, but with every other makeup mirror I've used, I had to pluck my eyebrows with the magnified side AND I still had to keep my glasses on in order to finish, but I don't have to wear my glasses with this one.
