As an owner of this bracket, i do not recommend it **Q: I bought this for my 42” tv and the brackets stick out on top. had i known this would happen i wouldn’t have ordered this. any solutions for this?** A: If you are even moderately handy, you can cut them to the correct length. Mark the correct length using masking tape. Remove the TV from the mount and remove the mount from the wall. Using a hacksaw or a rotary tool with a cut-off wheel, cut the mount as it is marked.
