If you have 3 kids that go through a box within a week, then these containers are fine. They just aren't very well sealed so it does start to get stale after about a week.The lids are loose enough that the kids can easily open themselves... but also loose enough that they they're dropped the small lid part pops open and spills cereal.Also something to be aware of is the rubber sealing is a thin rubber ring and if water doesn't properly dry in there, it can easily grow mold. So for the cheap price I'm happy with them but next time I'll look for something with better sealing. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Seal tight. Pretty big. Mine came apart pretty easily. However, mine arrived with a broken rubber seal, but the seller was very quick with sending out a replacement (after providing some proof of course). I applaud them for that.Now I don't know how long cereal can stay open before you can begin to taste how stale they've gotten, but I had mine in this container for about 3 weeks and they still taste as fresh as when I first out them in. So I have no complaints there.They are sizable - I am able to empty one bag of a BJs (or COSTCO) sized Kellogg's Frosted Flakes cereal in there with a little bit of room to spare. The "trick" is to lightly tap the container on the table (or floor) when it gets "full" and you'll see the cereal settle making room to add some more.Before using them I had to wash them - hand washed. I have pretty slim hands so I was able to easily fit in there getting to the corners. A person with bigger hands or forearms might have some trouble cleaning inside. The rubber seal in both the cover and the container itself can be removed for proper cleaning. Note that the rubber seals don't feel very durable; so DON'T STRETCH THEM. Sorry I can't comment on washing these containers in the dishwasher as I haven't and dont plan to.While they feel pretty durable, I wouldn't go doing a drop test with this. The containers have slim sides making it easy to to grip. Bottom line is that the containers seal tight, are pretty big and feel tough. I tried cold water and soap, banging on the edges with a piece of wood and nothing even came close to working. One of these was cracked on the side near the top. These would probably work great if you could separate them. It is unclear if this is a product problem or a manufacturer problem.
