This product tends not to center the push screw correctly when set up for pulling. While it is a little crude, the irony is that this product does a job that many of the others of its general category cannot do because of critical dimensions and adjustment features. In my case (right out of the box) with a little nudging, this tool accomplished the job of pulling a pinion off of a 5/16" shaft in rather short order.
