Win 10 or Win 10 S** A: The Go, which I purchased on Aug. 3 at a Microsoft Store, comes with Windows in S mode installed. I was able to stand the stripped down operating system for four days. I've now switched to regular Windows 10 Home. Not being able to install software as simple as a stylus driver and a Flash blocker was frustrating. I will be adding a few other apps not sold in the Windows Store by the end of this week, as I become more familiar with the device. How does one switch OSes? I got the pen with it (sold separately) and it's awesome taking notes on it! Every time I see someone carrying a heavy backpack, I feel proud of this device, as I carry a lot of e-books in it. Build quality is superb. You get premium feel in a not so premium price ( I got it for 32000 INR). battery life is good too, beats almost all laptops. The performance might be a little underwhelming, but yeah, you can't cut wood with a penknife, which doesn't mean a penknife isn't useful. Surface Go isn't a device which you can use to crunch up numbers and stuff, but rather for browsing, surfing and yeah, taking and reading notes.
