**Q: how wide are the pots**
A: About 4cm wide, perfect for starting seeds off

**Q: How to water plants in these pots?**
A: Thanks for this great question!  Yes Mrs Constable is correct with her method.  We have found that recycled food trays of the the same size are good.  You put small holes in one, pack your pots in and use another one below without the holes.  This is the easiest way of ensuring your pots get the correct amount of water and do not become soggy or too dry.  The pots are indeed stronger than you would think and have lasted a few months even leaving them outside!  If the pots do start to breakdown, it is still easier for us and kinder to the plant to pot up seedlings grown this way rather than from a tray or plastic cells
