The buttons are completely covered and work well while protected by the black rubber liner. Outer cover has texture to improve grip. Some openings, like the charge opening are covered with flip open covers; I think this makes the phone a little more safe from dust, dirt and (perhaps) the inadvertent water splashed on it.I love this case. I recommend the case.The packaging was easy to mange. You yourself a favor and take out the rubber insert out of the case and place your phone in the insert and then the case.

Nice case for the price. One flaw is that the sides where you grip are super smooth and the phone easily slips out of our hands. It's annoying, but we kept it.
