Excellent razor weight and very soft bristles compared to my old badger hair brush that was a bit prickly. Kit came with nice box, bowl, stand, brush, razor, pack of blades, shaving soap and instruction manual (how to assemble stand, how to install blade, how to mix soap, and how to properly shave with double edge safety razor for newbies). Everything except the shave soap is great. Black shave soap should be exchanged for a TOBS or even Van der Hagen would be better. The shave soap that come with this is poor quality at best, I literaly used it one time, and threw it in the trash. Sink full of black/ grey water from this soap?! No way....a bar of Dial soap or Ajax dish soap would be a step up from this black 'shave soap' .
