I would definitly reccomend this product to everyone as #1 *by J***. on Reviewed in the United States on June 14, 2011* Don't waste your time buying any other product. This c-section recovery kit was like a miracle! What person is up and walking 2-3 hrs after their c-section? ME! ...of course with the assistance of Abdomend! I purchased this because my husband was gone in the Army and we were having our 2nd baby in the hospital by csection. I needed an alternative helping method other than to just not hold or pickup my 2 yr old when she needed me. Thankfully 25 lbs. was the weight limit the hospital gave me and my daughter fell right within those limits, maxing them out at 24 lbs. for her body weight. Not only did this belt give me the ability to be up and walking to start my recovery process earlier than ever before, but it also aided me at home when getting up and down from a sitting or laying down position. I was able to leave the hospital 48 hrs exactly after having my csection. As most people know, your guaranteed a total of a 3 night, 4 day hospital stay after having a csection. I was amazed to see how well I was doing with my recovery all because of this belt. How amazing this was. I will definitly recommend it to anyone else. And NO need to buy another belt if we chose to have another child. This belt held up really well! I never delt with issues of it 'ruching' up my sides because the front has 2 adjustable straps which seemm to prevent this issue... unlike all other belts. Plus, the support is amazing! I was totally pulled up and inward which is what's needed to help keep yourself 'together'. Even though the deluxe kit that I purchased came with 3 belts, I only needed to use one. And at that, I only needed it for at the most, about 1 1/2 - 2 weeks time. And like anyone, our bodies dont go directly back to pre-pregnancy shape, and pregnancy clothes are used still right after the baby is born... with that in mind, this belt seemed to apear very well hidden under my clothing. I was very very very pleased with it. Unfortunately, I feel like I wasted my money. They gave me a band in the hospital that I didn't have to pay for, and it basically did the same job as this. I was hoping when I got home and this was in the mail box that it would be so super soft and lovely. It really was the same thing I got for free in the hospital. It wasn't as soft as I had hoped and it was annoying under my clothes. Also, beware in sizing. I sized according to the website instructions, and about one week after having my baby the band was WAAAAY too huge for me. I had to cinch it so much that it felt pretty uncomfortable because of the extra bulky material.I used a different "belly band" after baby number 4 and that pulled in my gut for a lot lower price.I rated it 3 stars because it does keep you held in and the company seems nice enough.I couldn't give it 5, because this seemed a waste of my money...and the video and brush were a waste too. There was no way I was ever going to have the time to lay in bed and brush my legs and tummy. But you know, maybe if you have one or two kids you'd feel differently about that.
