On the 2nd try I was sent what I ordered. The third party seller gave me a $10.00 credit on my account for my troubles. As far as the boots themselves go, they are great. They look awesome with jeans and are incredibly comfortable. These boots are made by Dan Post with the sub brand Laredo labeled on them. I saw someone say the boots look cheap. I could not disagree more. I have 17 pairs of cowboy boots and am versed in the boot industry. These boots should be bought for around $100.00. Make sure you know how snip toe boots fit you. If you don't own snip toe boots you should know they fit differently then square or round toe boots. I've seen boots here in Austin, going for $300 and $400 that aren't as nice as these. Nice color and texture. Great design. Good quality leather. They were much lighter in color than what is pictured on the page and the texture is very soft. I was worried about water damage and wasn’t sure what to use to protect them. I was concerned that mink oil would change the color and texture but after trying a little on the inside of the pull up loops, I decided that I liked the results. The color is a little darker and browner but I think it was an improvement. I like the texture better too. Don’t have a “before” picture.
