The finished product turned out fantastic and is framed hanging on my wall now. The instructions were very easy to follow and my son was so proud of his finished painting. There was a lesson plan in cartoon format that he loved. The other thing i liked is that i can use the stencil over and over. Didn't love getting a prothelytizing message of "Jesus Saves" written on the label. You don't know who is receiving that package... ### ⭐⭐ ... one with my 6 and 8 yr olds who love art projects *by J***R on June 17, 2015* I just finished doing this one with my 6 and 8 yr olds who love art projects. Unfortunately, I found these to be a big let down given the price. The stencil is nice, but its so large its hard to keep it flat while you are painting it, but I understand its not meant to be perfect. I will keep the stencil for some future project of my own design. The "stamp" you make to add texture painted the plastic stencil, but wouldn't transfer to the paper unless the stamp was dripping with paint, and then it really didn't look like texture as much as just blotchy paint. I understand the allure of these kits is that its all ready to go, with easy instructions and a nice bit of history on the painter, but it didn't really amount to much interesting for my kids or myself.
