I had ordered them in a C width so I could have a bit of wiggle room for toes, and comfort. I normally wear a street size 8 or 8.5...ordered the 7.5 and they fit like a dream, not too loose, and not too tight. I had also ordered fullfootundies, which were much more expensive, poorly made, uncomfortable and sizing was off. I am ever so happy that I had opted for these dance shoes! the open arch allows my feet to breath, and not get all sweaty, and shows the curve of foot nicely. They are so so very comfy and permit pivoting on the ball of foot without pain! (had to mark an L and R inside shoes to ensure i put them back on the same feet each time) There was no break in time, as they were very soft and supple as well. They aren't bulky in the arch although I had to re-sew the elastics in the arch portion they were too long.
